Guess what I made today! Spearmint tea!
And it’s probably the easiest thing to make in the history of Earth.
What You Need
- a few sprigs of fresh spearmint
- a few cups of water
What You Do
- Snag some sprigs of spearmint from the bush in your neighbor’s back yard and toss them into a glass pitcher.
- Boil a few cups of water on the stove.
- Pour the boiling water over the spearmint.
- Wait 5 minutes.
The hardest part of this whole deal is finding a neighbor with a spearmint bush. Good luck with that. If you’d like, you can do the same darned thing with peppermint. And let me tell you everyone has peppermint growing in their yards. It grows fast and behaves like a weed, so most people are delighted for you to come along and harvest. Remember to be a good neighbor and ask first.
